TARMAC SHORT COURSE CHALLENGE (TSCC)

Hi Visitor,

Although still limited in numbers we are now able to run smaller events such as this however we have altered the usual full day format to half days with 10 people in each group instead of the usual 20. The morning session is full however we still have a few places available in the afternoon so if you are keen to get back into some form of competitive driving come join us at Lakeside for an afternoon of gymkhana fun. Using the DTC (go kart track/driver training area) we offer a challenging short course to explore your vehicles limits and work on improving your skills. The aim… to complete the course in the shortest time possible.

LAKESIDE - DTC

Saturday 23rd May 12.30pm - 4.00pm

Cost $155 per driver.
Cars can be shared but days will be capped at a max of 10 drivers to ensure plenty of runs and short wait times. Unfortunately due to social distancing regulations we are unable to accomodate guests at this time.
Courses may be run on a combination of dry and wet surfaces dependant on weather conditions.

From the standing start to the flying finish these days promise action and fun in bucket loads! They provide a great opportunity to develop vision skills, vehicle balance and car control as applied in any future advanced driving.

Vehicle and Driver Requirements

All vehicles welcome however standard Lakeside noise limits apply. (Questionable vehicles may be subjected to stationary noise testing).
No other special equipment required other than enclosed footwear.
All drivers must be licenced and provide licence during sign on. Provisional licence holders and learners* accepted. * If they are accompanied but this would count as two entries due to the cap in numbers.

Venue and Times

TSCC events are conducted Lakeside Motorsport Park located at the end of Lakeside Rd, Kurwongbah. Upon arrival please proceed through the main gates (gates near shed) and then turn right just before you reach the actual circuit entrance (signposted driver training). Follow this road around the back of the circuit to the Driver Training Centre where you will be greeted and directed where to park.
Sign on and briefing 12.00pm
Start time PM Session 12.30pm start – Finish 4.00pm
Tea and coffee provided. BYO food and drinks.
