Hi Visitor, We are pleased to announce that planning has commenced for the this years running of our Driving Events Tour of Targa Great Barrier Reef. What better place to combine the exhilaration of driving some unbelievable roads in a relaxed holiday environment than Cairns. Your tour leader and pace setter this year will be none other than our Targa Tasmania & 2 x Australian Targa Champion - Paul Stokell.. So come and join us as we take on some of the best roads in Australia without the hassle of competition. Whats Required? All that’s needed to join in is a performance road car and two people (driver & co-driver) with a passion for driving and keen sense of adventure. It is not a race and the tour adheres to a 110km/h speed limit, however on the twisty mountain roads there is still plenty of opportunity to enjoy your car in a very “spirited” manner - the way they were designed. The Targa Tour follows the same course as competition vehicles, on closed roads using both sides of the road, ensuring you feel every twist and turn of the event. Joining Driving Events tour is truly a unique experience. Not only for the fact that you get to be part of one of the largest Tarmac rallies in the world but you also get to rub shoulders with some sporting legends and follow in the wheel tracks of back to back Championship winner and 2019 Targa Tasmania Champion Paul Stokell. These events combine the love of driving with social connection and comradery, guarantee an unforgettable and memorable experience. Click here to watch on YouTube This is a first come first served event which we are offering primarily to fellow QLD Driving Events customers before extending the invitation nationally. We are limited to a max number of 12 cars and keen interest has already been extensively expressed so we recommend acting quickly to secure a place. To secure your spot we require your initial deposit with the balance being settled in full by the 4th August 2023.
