Well, 2020 is proving to be one of the most challenging years on record! From drought to bushfires and now Corona Virus.. It's a difficult one for all of us but here at Driving Events we feel it necessary to provide an avenue of relief. Let your hair down at the circuit and enjoy the thrill of driving two of the best circuits in the country.. We will of course be mindful and have implemented policy's to help ensure everone's safety and of course as the situation develops these policy's may change.

Morgan Park Raceway - Monday 6th April 2020

Half Day AM 9.30am - 12.30pm (briefing 8.30am) - 3 x 20 min sessions $240.00

Full Day 9.30am - 4.15pm GREAT VALUE $395.00

Lakeside Raceway AM - Friday 17th April 2020

No Speed Limits, Quality Instruction, Quality Track Time

Track & Training days consist of controlled 20 minute sessions rotating throughout the day. To reduce the hassle and distraction of lapping traffic, cars and drivers will be grouped according to speed and experience ensuring the safest and most enjoyable track sessions possible. Book online.

Most importantly we include free comprehensive in car driver instruction from experienced instructors. Don't waste your time going round in circles! Advice from professionals will advance your driving and help you set up your car to ensure you improve every time you hit the track.

New drivers will have access to a Performance Driving Briefing before being guided on track by our team of experienced instructors. All drivers will be welcome "and encouraged" to undergo complimentary in car instruction during the day and for those really serious about improving those lap times why not try dedicated 1 on 1 coaching. Join my experienced team of instructors which include, Steve Owen, Chris McCormack, Rob Hackwood, Matt Taylor, Jimmy Mann,Thomas Maxwell and many other special guest instructors to make appearances throughout 2020.

Catering

Included in day will be the usual fantastic Mocopan espresso coffee, BBQ lunch (Morgan Park) and all refreshments. Guests are welcome  Please specify any dietary requirements at time of booking.

(COVID 19) Update

As most if not all of Driving Events social gathering fit well below the government mandated 500 outdoor or 100 indoor participants we are planning to continue operations for the meantime but these will be subject to ongoing development and government recommendations.

To minimise the risk of COVID-19, Driving Events are endeavouring to ensure:

• That all our services provide hand sanitiser, tissues and medical-grade disinfectant is used to clean down regular touch points etc.
• That safety briefings are performed outdoors or in well ventilated areas.
• Use of hair nets and wiping down of helmets before and after use.
• Encourage social distancing of 1.5 metres between people.
• Verbal rather than handshakes for greetings/farewells.
• Ask that all participants who are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 do not attend any pre-booked events.

How to protect yourself and those around you

It is in everyone's interest to practice good hygiene to protect against infection and prevent the virus from spreading and we encourage everyone to wash their hands thoroughly prior to, and after leaving any event.

Good hygiene includes:

• Washing your hands often with soap and water
• Using alcohol-based hand sanitisers
• Covering your coughs and sneezes with your elbow or tissue and disposing of tissues properly
• Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces such as steering wheels, door handles, helmets etc.
