• I Agree that if I elect to withdraw from a Course, I will be liable to Driving Events for the following amounts:
  • 0% of the fees set by Driving Events for the Course, if I withdraw at least 30 days prior to commencement of the Course less 2.7% if booking was paid via PayPal.
  • 25% of those fees if I withdraw less than 30 days but more than 7 days prior to commencement of the Course
  • 100% of those fees if I withdraw 7 days or less prior to commencement of the Course
• I Agree that no attempt to withdraw from a Course will be effective unless it is in writing and received by Driving Events. Time periods as mentioned above refer to the receipt of the withdrawal notice by Driving Events.  Driving Events shall be entitled to retain the amount owing by me pursuant to clause 12 above from any fees already paid;
• I Agree that Driving Events may delay or cancel the Course for any reason.  In this case, unless the delay or cancellation is caused by you, Driving Events will endeavour to provide alternative arrangements as needed.  I agree that in such cases I will have no claim against Driving Events.
• I am fully responsible for the roadworthiness, registration and insurance of any motor vehicle I bring to a Course, and I warrant that the motor vehicle is, to the best of my knowledge, in a road worthy condition, registered and insured in accordance with all government regulations. I agree that Driving Events bears no responsibility for any claim, loss or damage which occurs or is contributed to as a result of non-compliance with these regulations or as a result of anything I acknowledge, agree or represent in this clause.
• I agree that Driving Events may make changes to a Course at any time, and that Driving Events will not be liable for any costs incurred in these circumstances. Driving Events will endeavour to provide suitable alternative arrangements where practicable.

These terms apply to the “original” booking date.

Bookings are not transferable.

All drivers and their guests will be required to complete an indemnity form on the day.

Driving Events Tours

• I acknowledge that payments made for deposits when booking Tours, such as the T4, are not-refundable.

Defensive Courses

Please Note: Changes to bookings are not permitted within 7 days of a course unless a replacement booking can be found. Accepted changes will incur a $25.00 transfer fee. Absolutely no changes will be accepted within 2 days of a course. If either a replacement booking can’t be found or within 2 days of a course extenuating circumstances prevent participation a re-booking may be offered at a substantial 50% off our standard course fee. Any requests for change must be made in writing by contacting us via email.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR NORWELL DEFENSIVE TRAINING

Due to venue restrictions, Defensive Driver events at the Norwell Driving Centre are subject to course minimums. Should sufficient numbers not be achieved for your nominated date we will advise you by phone or email prior to the day. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative date or venue.
