Track days

Your own car, the best circuits

Driving Events Track & Training days offer the chance to drive your own car on some of Australia's most famous race circuits in a structured day offering plenty of track time, tuition, guidance and support.

Slightly different formats and inclusions are available at each venue.

Queensland Raceway - weekdays or weekends

Driving Events at Queensland RacewayThese days are available as a half or full day option.

Format

To enable all attendee's the chance to lap in a relaxed and safe environment, the days are divided into sessions catering for new drivers, intermediate drivers and advanced drivers.

  • Open to any closed wheel road or race car.
  • Each group will rotate through one 20min sessions / hour providing plenty of track time, low pupil to instructor ratio (approx 2:1) and most importantly a chance for you and your car to cool down. Experienced instructors are included and on hand in every session to sit with you and provide one on one instruction where required.
  • All new drivers will participate in a Performance Driving theory session followed by individual track reconnaissance with an instructor for their first laps.
  • Option to bring a second driver to share your car in your sessions. (Must attend morning drivers briefing)
  • Different circuit configurations in the morning and afternoon. Weekends run on the Clubman circuit Mocopan
  • BBQ lunch will be provided (full days) and the usual excellent Mocopan coffee service plus cold refreshments available all day.

Times

Full days - days kick off at 8.30am sharp for a mandatory safety briefing, followed by a performance drivers briefing with cars on track by 9.15am rotating through a min of 6 x 20 min sessions (Full Day). The day wraps up at around 4.45pm.

Half days - Morning - sessions kick off at 8.30am sharp for a mandatory safety briefing, followed by a performance drivers briefing with cars on track by 9.15am rotating through a min of 3 x 20 min sessions. Morning sessions wrap up at 12.45pm.

Half days - Afternoon - sessions kick off at 12.30pm sharp for a mandatory safety briefing, with cars on track by 1.00pm rotating through a min of 3 x 20 min sessions. Afternoon sessions wrap up at 4.00pm. Sometimes depending on how we are running for time, we also offer a bonus 30min run on the National Circuit at the end of the day.

Lakeside Raceway WEEKDAYS - HALF DAY

Lakeside Raceway These days are available only as a half day option.

Format

  • Open to any closed wheel road or race car. (Noise restrictions apply)
  • Each group will rotate through one 20min sessions / hour providing plenty of track time, low pupil to instructor ratio (approx 2:1) and most importantly a chance for you and your car to cool down. Experienced instructors are included and on hand in every session to sit with you and provide one on one instruction where required.
  • All new drivers will participate in a Performance Driving theory session followed by group track reconnaissance with an instructor for their first laps.

Morgan Park FULL DAYS OR HALF DAYS

Driving Events at Morgan Park Raceway We operate days at Morgan Park on both the 2.1km and the full 3km circuit. These days are available as a half or full day option.

Norwell Motorplex HALF DAYS

Driving Events at Norwell Motorplex Norwell Motorplex days are available as a half day option.

Format

To enable all attendee's the chance to lap in a relaxed and safe environment, the days are divided into sessions catering for new drivers, intermediate drivers and advanced drivers.

  • Open to any closed wheel road car. (Unfortunately due to noise restrictions race cars will not be permitted at this venue)
  • Each group will rotate through one 15min sessions / hour providing plenty of track time, low pupil to instructor ratio (approx 3:1) and most importantly a chance for you and your car to cool down. Experienced instructors are included and on hand in every session to sit with you and provide one on one instruction where required.
  • All new drivers will participate in a Performance Driving theory session followed by individual track reconnaissance with an instructor for their first laps.
  • Option to bring a second driver to share your car in your sessions. (Must attend drivers briefing)
  • Our usual excellent Mocopan coffee service plus cold refreshments available all day.
  • Optional 15 min Skid Pan Sessions, 15 min block (pre-booking essential)
