Morgan Park Raceway is a premier motorsport circuit nestled near Warwick in Queensland’s Southern Downs.
It has a long and evolving history dating back to the late 1960s, when the initial 730-metre track was first used for racing, and has since grown into a complex featuring multiple layouts that cater to a wide range of motorsport events and driver experiences.
The facility is owned and operated by the Warwick District Sporting Car Club and has hosted both state and national-level competition, including rounds of the Australian Drivers’ Championship, the Superbike Championship, and Queensland state titles.
It’s also known for the Southern Downs Challenge and Queensland Super Sprint Championships, plus one of Queensland’s biggest historic motor racing festivals.
The circuit features several track configurations, including the extended 2.1 km “E” layout and the longer 2.96 km “K” layout used for major events.
These layouts combine a mix of high-speed straights and technical corners that test both driver skill and vehicle performance, making Morgan Park a favourite among competitors and driving enthusiasts.
Located about two hours southwest of Brisbane, Morgan Park provides excellent facilities for competitors and visitors alike, with pit garages, grandstand views, and easy access from the nearby town of Warwick.
Its scenic rural setting and dynamic track design have made it a standout venue for driving days, track training, and competitive motorsport.
